Talbot “Sandy” D’Alemberte, Esq., the Founding Board Chair of IPF, was a lawyer, professor, former politician, former educational administrator, and former president of the American Bar Association from 1991 to 1992. He represented Dade County in the Florida House of Representatives from 1966 to 1972. Mr. D’Alemberte served as Dean of the College of Law for five years and as President of Florida State University for nine years. He was a Professor of Law at FSU and was a partner at D’Alemberte & Palmer, a Tallahassee law firm specializing in appellate work. Unfortunately, Mr. D’Alemberte passed away on May 20, 2019
