Your gift helps free innocent people, support their transition home, and advance a more just legal system. Join us in standing up for innocence and ensuring that justice serves everyone.

What your gift makes possible

When it comes to the critical work of finding and freeing innocent people, every dollar counts. Below is just a sample of what your gift will pay for:

$50 – Pay for the approximate postage for mailing questionnaires to 50 incarcerated individuals
$100 – Defray screening and evaluation costs of a potential case including public records requests
$250 – Buy groceries for an exoneree for one month
$500 – Cover the cost of an overnight trip for an attorney travel to meet with client
$1,000 – Covers two months rent for a recently freed person
$2,500 – Pay for initial medical and dental exams and treatment for one freed client
$5,000 – Cover the costs of a comprehensive investigation in one case
$10,000 – Pay the approximate costs associated with all necessary DNA testing in a single case
